Shared Legacies

Shared Legacies is a two-weekend experience bringing together the African American and Jewish communities to honor our shared history and stand together in unity.
The first weekend will feature a screening of the documentary Shared Legacies, directed by Shari Rogers, highlighting the historic partnership between both communities during the Civil Rights Movement.
The second weekend will include a round-table discussion with Dr. Ben Chavis, Jr. and Dr. Shari Rogers, cofounder and president of Spill the Honey, offering deeper insight and meaningful dialogue inspired by the film.
